Understanding payment statuses

Step by step

  1. Pending — payment started but not yet confirmed by the gateway.
  2. Paid — payment confirmed; the order moves to the vendor for processing.
  3. Failed — the payment didn’t go through; you can safely try again.
  4. Refunded — money has been returned to your payment method.
